Viewing/Service:Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a ember of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen , where friends will be welcomed from 2-4 , Friday, October 30. Additional visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m., the time of services, Saturday October 31 at St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church of Monessen.
Entombment will take place in Bogalus, LA.
Obituary:
Charlotte S. Grimsley, 89 of Monessen, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 in Hallsworth House of Monessen.
She was born October 25, 1925 a daughter of the late Nicholas and
Katherine Kudlik Stefanowicz. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church of Monessen and the Church's Choir and Ladies Sisterhood. Had served as Past President of U.O.L.. While living in Louisiana, she had attended and was a member of the
Choir at the Monroe St. Babtist Church and had served on the Trade and Labor Council.
She worked as a Sales Clerk for J.C. Penney. Surviving are her sister- Mrs. Nellie Bachinski and husband John, of Monessen and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel E. Grimsley and Sisters-Anna Matta, Margaret Birthinee, Olga Mikulsky, and Brothers- Nick Stefanowicz and Walter Stephens.
